KARACHI: Examination centers in Sindh faced serious load-shedding during matriculation exams.
Despite Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah’s directives, the s
tudents were deprived of electricity and cold water durin
g examination due to load-shedding.
However, Shah, in order to ensure smoot
h supply of electricity, directed the chief secretary to coordina
te with K-Electric, HESCO and SESCO.
CM said, “I will suggest that you reduce load-shedding even at night so that s
tudents can prepare properly for their examinations.”
General group exams are underway, whereas science group exams will begin on April 15.
Almost 45,000 s
tudents appeared for the general group exams this year conducted by Board of Secondary Examination Karachi (BSEK).
Meanwhile, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Sukkur also conducted their matriculation exams
today.
